While we talking logos… Since becoming the Pelicans in 2012 one of the things fans have missed is the “throwback” logo/merch/uniforms because we are the youngest franchise. This off-season I wanted to change that. Without Further ado I introduce you to Po’ the Pelican.

Yup! I had the same thought years ago and came up with a few ideas. It’s kinda like how even tho OKC has no real history that one year they came out with those Navy Blue jerseys with the long white stripe. They’re not the best jerseys but they do have a throwback feel to em https://www.si.com/nba/2012/11/08/thunder-jerseys-black-oklahoma-city-alternate I also think we could use “Pels” in cursive script on a jersey to give it a throwback feel
