  1. These professional sports contracts are ridiculous. I get it… they are getting what the “market” says they can get. But these numbers are out of control

  2. They banking on kristaps being the best 3rd option but they need a table setter a pass first point guard

  3. This has to be said for brou to be the nba guy his nba takes are trash.Look up Dirk post season averages he is clearly a top 25 guy by a fkn mile.I’ll never forget when him n kg met when they were very young in the playoffs Dirk demolished em.

  4. This guy's did nothing in the finals and now he makes, correct me if I'm wrong the highest paid player

  5. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 and here I am paying $1800 for a 1 bedroom. This guy gets 304MIL 5yr contract and can’t win a championship😢

  6. Broussard said the best thing quietly under his breath in all this. The middle-class player is getting squeezed out. With these top players eating half the cap, the rest will have to take less to fit on these rosters. And they said it best brown is a number 2 but getting paid as a number 1. Just because max contracts are available to players doesn't mean these teams must pay them max. Moving forward, how are they going to keep players like white while dealing with cap. The sad thing is if they don't pay him, someone else will pay him so the Celtics are stuck.

  7. Chris’s Dirk hate is embarrassing illogical nonsense.

Here is the list of players EVER to play 68+ PLAYOFF games (to include Jokic) and average 25+ PPG 10+ RBG (who have won title and Finals MVP):

    Hakeem
    Dirk
    Giannis
    Jokic

Dirk has the most WIN Shares out of all of them in the PLAYOFFS (23.1, Hakeem 22.6, Jokic 12.6, Giannis 11.2)!

Even if you add players who have not won a title it’s just Elgin Baylor who is widely regarded as a top15-30 somewhere GOAT as well!

Dirk is undoubtedly in the top13-23 GOAT range and it can be argued anywhere in-between with about 15 other guys where they go.

In Dirk’s prime from 2002-2011 PLAYOFFS in 111 games he AVERAGED

    26 PPG
    11 RBG
    3 APG
    1.1 SPG
    1 BPG
    47/40/89
    25 PER
Two amazing runs to the finals including 2011 where he closed the deal with a top5 run ever!

06-11 Playoffs in 71 games he averaged

    27
    10
    3
    2stocks
    60.2 TS%
    26.2 PER
.231 WS/48 (only MJ LeBron Jokic have a career WS/48 > .226 post George Mikan and Dirk WS/48 in playoffs career .184 is 16th all time post George Mikan)
7.5 BPM (all time for their playoff career only MJ LeBron Jokic Kawhi Giannis Magic have > 7.5 BPM…Kawhi would be top15-20 too if healthy more)
2 finals trips never with another top25 player in the NBA as a teammate!

  8. My thing is why so many people care about someone else’s pockets especially when those fans who like other teams

  9. I must be crazy because I don't see a difference between Brown and Tatum talent level. I'll give Brown a notch for being a better Defender. Boston must be paying the media to hype up Tatum.

  10. Bucks are cooking Celtics for sure miami Is too if they get dame. Or if herro is healthy…losing smart was BIG idc what anyone says

  11. How many more times can they keep raising players salaries🤔 There's no way Jalen Brown or any other players should be making more than Lebron, Steph or Giannis no matter what the market say😮‍💨 Win 1st and then discuss top tier contracts.

  12. The fact that he’s gonna be making like 70 a million is absolutely crazy but brou is right other players who may not be as good will eventually get way more

  13. Warriors didn't have a top 25 player in '15 or '22. Sometimes the champion just gets lucky by playing injured teams throughout the plays, and sometimes teams have a deep enough roster to wear the other team down. Warriors were both in their first and last title runs.

  14. After his performance in the playoffs last year, 300 million is an absurd amount to play a player of his caliber…
    😭

  15. Vow 70 million in last year. Considering the salary cap having a single player getting 70 million and tatum another super max candidate, how one can build a respectful team to have a chance to win. Bad contract basketball wise. But good for Brown. And for celtics tontrade him going ahead they would need half a team in exchange 😂
