  1. I love JG. I’m still not sold. He has the potential to be great. I hope he lives up to his potential. I’m really hoping he becomes the best JG he can be. I’m excited for JG about this year for all of the reasons you discussed in this episode. Go JG!!!! Live learn and enjoy JG! 🙂

  2. For Jalen, its about IQ, court awareness, decision making, and anticipation.
Hes good on focus, want to, and selflessness. His professionalism is okay.
When I watch Jalen Green as a nimber 2 pick overall Im expecting to see a Anthony Edwards, or Derick Rose, or Even Allen Iverson. I dont even feel hes as good as Devin Booker tbh.
When you watch the game as long as I have you notice things like things you cant teach or train. You either have IT or you dont. When I look at Scoot by comparison watching his IQ, how quickly he thinks over the other players near him, the way he thinks the game, the way he anticipates and the game slows down for him it shows me that for Henderson im not thinking are we gonna win the game tonight. Im more thinking by how much. With Jalen he wants to be that guy he just doesnt have IT. Only person Ive ever seen learn the IT factor of quick decision making, slowingthe game down, taking over, knowing youll probably win with jim on the court, soending countless hours in the lab learning and perfecting every little scientific data of the game was the late great mamba Kobe Bryant. Hes the only guy that looked like JG outta high school and his first year in the league, but then became a monster by his 2nd season. Jalen Green is not a "oh jalens lacing up tonight better chaulk us the W". Hell no. Jalen dont have it like that. His ceiling I believe is like a caron butler, grant hill, eddie joneses of the world. Good solid players but not greatness walking, which number 2 picks should end up being. I dont see it, which is why I got Amen, Tari, and KPJ shining in Udokas system they just think the game way better and quicker and have IT.
Jalen may be on the right path but I believe he will not have the IQ to go from crawling to walking to running. He used to crawl every game and 1 time a season he would run. Now hes walking every game and every once in a while he runs. I think thats his ceiling. Most people keep thinking oh hes gonna be a MVP candidate every other year and hes gonna run every game. No absolutely not from what Im seeing and hearing from him. Hes not smart enough lika a Scoot Henderson to really learn how to instinctively react to every possible situation with the correct decision before everyone else even says go. Hell never get to that point.

  3. He’s gonna play for Select Team USA this summer mini camp.He should be on that USA team roster , Jalen Green over Josh Hart.

  4. I’ve still very high on Jalen just as I was during the draft process. None of the negative national media or lack of team success during this rebuild has deterred me from my opinion. I said his ceiling in Kobe coming out and floor is Lavine and so far statistically he’s been better than both his 1st 2 years in the league. Kobe always had success playing under a good coach Phil Jackson paired with a dominant big man (Shaq/Pau). He struggled as the guy and the team went 34-48 when Phil and Shaq left in the 04-05 season. To me the situation you land in is everything. Now that we have a great coach and if Sengun/Bari take the leap to become All-Star bigs, I know Jalen will be successful as the primary scorer on a contending team. A player with his talent level and work ethic tends to end in greatness. We just gotta be patient. Jokic, Giannis, Steph, etc. none of these guys who’ve just won championships were dominating the league at the end of year 2, so why do we expect it to be any different with our 19-20 year olds? I agree this USA Select Team experience will be valuable in his growth and we’ll see a more locked in player on both sides of the ball this year now that we’re actually trying to win games, have a legit PG, and good coach.

  5. Let's look at SGA for example. Know who his vet was? Chris Paul. They were in the playoffs together against the Rockets and went to game 7. Then ever since then SGA has taken off. We really did Jalen and Jabari dirty. Sengun was going to be fine because he was already a pro in Turkey.

  6. Think about this, 1 of the 1st things FVV did was link up with JG and get some training in. If we had went the harden route James woulda took him to the all white party instead 😂
