**Thanks to the swift and effective response by the USC athletics’ medical staff, Bronny James was successfully treated for a sudden cardiac arrest. He arrived at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center fully conscious, neurologically intact and stable. Mr. James was cared for promptly by highly-trained staff and has been discharged home, where he is resting. Although his workup will be ongoing, we are hopeful for his continued progress and are encouraged by his response, resilience, and his family and community support.**
So glad to hear this.
I wonder what’s going to happen going forward. Best case scenario, it’s a fixable condition and he is off for a few months.
Tremendous news for Bronny and his entire family. Praying that the doctors can determine what the cause was and take the necessary measures to ensure that it doesn’t happen again.
Too much pressure on him. He needs to have some time off
That’s good news. Hopefully he recovers soon anough and they find out the cause and devise a plan accordingly.
I wonder if he’s at home because his condition allowed him to be discharged without medical supervision, or if he’s at home because LeBron can afford to have whatever medical staff would be helpful on hand.
No judgment either way, just curious about the aftermath of a health event like this one.
I would have thought he’d be in the hospital longer.
Awesome news. Hopefully it was a freak occurrence and that he can still play.
Hopefully not a defect in his heart. If it is…Goodby career.
This is fantastic news. Many kudos to the USC training staff that saved his life.
Cedars is one of the richer hospitals too in LA
Lot of celebrities go there for treatment
They schlepped him all the way from USC to Cedars? They have a hospital at USC already!
My First thought was Reggie Lewis. That was a nightmare. Hope he recovers 100% and this never comes back.
