To this day this was Vivek Ranadive's worse decision ever. Not Nik Staukas, not suggesting running 4 on 5 with a cherry picker, it was this. To this day I believe he could've gotten that team to the playoffs that year
I appreciate what Rudy brought to my team, the Kings. He was a class act here, and the organization at the time, did him, Boogie, IT, and the rest wrong by firing Mike Malone. The snake in the grass (Pete D’Alassandro) as GM, set this franchise back years, but luckily the new management has removed most of the front office stench of that era. Thank you Rudy Gay for you time here in Sac, the fans here, forever appreciate you.
getting rid of Malon was always a bone head move…. Cousins was all in, they fired Malon for having the team play defence for christ sake.
