Tracy McGrady Doesn’t Understands Why James Harden Doesn’t Have a NBA RING YET!?

Tracy McGrady chimes in on James Harden and gives his opinion or rather’s makes a statement on why he doesn’t understands why James Harden wants a trade from Philly and why he hasn’t won a NBA RING yet with all the Hall of Famers he has played with throughout his career.

  1. "Dwight Howard should be in the Hall
of Fame Chris Paul is going to be in the Hall of Fame Joel embiid if he keeps playing the way he's been playing he's possibly going to be in the Hall of Fame um Russell Westbrook possibly a Hall of Famer Kevin Durant we all know he's a Hall of Famer Kyrie Irving Hall of Famer"

You say Dwight should be in, Embiid and Westbrook PROBABLY should be in and Kyrie is definitely in, not even a qualifier for Kyrie and then you say
"that's just my take on James Harden man is that you ain't one one ring one NBA championship ring and to me you're not even in my top ten I don't give a damn what nobody say and you possibly ain't even in my top 20 because your work ethic is so effed up how can I choose somebody who doesn't take basketball seriously"

Embiid and Westbrook are former MVPs. Kyrie and Dwight just have rings bc of LeBron. You really think Kyrie and Dwight take the NBA more seriously than Embiid and Westbrook? I'm not saying any of these guys aren't great basketball players but Harden is clearly a great basketball player as well so it seems like you are criticizing him for not taking the NBA seriously, specifically getting a ring.

So my thoughts are, if i was in a position like James Harden, and this is the type of criticism i was hearing, why would I take the NBA seriously?
He's made a lot of money. He's also lost a lot of money. You might even say he lost some money trying to get a ring to shut everyone up. It wasn't his fault OKC was stupid and traded him. They would definitely have won a ring if they just paid both Harden and Ibaka. But to be fair, they might have won in 2012 if Harden had played better, although I can't imagine LeBron coming back after 2011 and squandering a chance in 2012 as well, but KD was fouled, they should have been up 2-0 so who knows. Houston was cursed. I don't know what else you could say. 0-27? They just weren't meant to win anything. The Brooklyn thing…. I dunno they should have won and didn't. Unlucky. Some of that is on Kyrie not playing in 2021 but you are saying he is a surefire HoF i guess. (Also just want to say 2021 is the Nets fault. If Kyrie felt the way he did and didn't want the vaccine, trade him or suspend him for the year or play him road games, dont mess around and say it's the city of New York's call. That situation was just stupid and petty).
But yes, Harden not wanting to be a part of the 76ers this year is really stupid, but let's not go so far as to discredit his whole career. If you want to discredit his decisions from the end of his Houston days until now, thats fair. You wanna say he flames out on the biggest stage, that's fair too.
But if you are then going to say Dwight HoF yes, Kyrie HoF yes, Embiid Westbrook possibly, and Dwight and Kyrie are two people who are close to the bottom as far as guys who take the NBA seriously, while Embiid and Westbrook are putting teams on their backs… don't you imagine someone like Harden would see this and hear this and give up trying to please anyone and maybe not even care about getting a ring anymore?
I mean in this moment. In ten years he'll probably wish it had happened for him, but in this moment, you're just aware that you are being scrutinized by people who aren't even listening to themselves 😆
