  1. i don't have a problem with this but i was expecting them to give Swider at least one more year to try and improve in other areas

  2. Alex Fudge is Jared Vanderbilt. Same player. All hustle and defense, no shooting. Don't know why we need two identical players with such limitations.

  3. Thought it was premature. Lakers knew he was a terrible defender and a work in progress last year so gave him a 2 years 2-way contract to give him enough time to develop. He's a terrible defender we get that but he could have picked up with time and teaching. I was thinking Colin will be upgraded to a roaster spot and then Fudge placed on a 2-way.

Anyway Cole shot himself in the foot by not improving in any way after a full year. Its hard for anyone to even say something in your favour.

Swider should pay for a private defensive coach if he's not got one already and he should basically just learn to stick to his player he's defending everywhere the person is. That alone can make him an average defender.

  4. Fudge.. he's a Jarred Vanderbilt type of player. But that said, he's still 20yrs old I presume? If he can develop even further than this, then it would be a great move. We'll see in the future. I mean c'mon, PG broke-through at age 24, Kawhi was 25 yrs old I think when he became a bonifide star, we ain't even talking about Stephen Curry. We can't say for sure now what Fudge will be in the future, it's a low risk high reward kind of scenario. 7.5/10

  5. Yea, wishing Swider well man!!
Love the way he catches and shoots but there just wasn't much else to his overall game!
Hopefully he clears waivers and sticks with The Lakers somehow but that's unlikely.

  6. Swider's ceiling is George Niang. Alex Fudge can develop as a Jared Vanderbilt.

  7. LeFraud James path to an overrated career
    2004: Missed playoffs

    2005: Missed playoffs

  8. D'Moi Hodge should fit in perfectly. Such a poised, scrappy defensive shooter.

  9. Teams can only keep three two-way players if they have a full roster of 15 players. If not, they can only have two three-way players. You should tell people this.

  10. Swider can't dribble, can't play defense, can drive to the hoop without fumbling the ball, Really bad iq…

  11. I think it was a great move. Fudge was dominating during Summer League. Fudge Is a high energy scorer as well as a dynamic defender.

  12. Hello there Trevor… this is Darrell in SC how about Neemias Queta from the Kings for center he has a little NBA experience we can get him on the cheap

  13. I love how unknowledgeable Laker Fans drooled over Swider's 3 pt shooting, but what I saw was a player DEFICIENT in all other areas. Laker Fans have been so desperate for ANY help, and every year they hope and pray to find relief from the garbage heap. I wish Laker Fans would stop fawning over the cause of all this upheaval, LeEGO James. When he is gone, we can become the Lakers again, rather than patsies for the biggest narcissist this side of Mar a Lago. Look at the turmoil Trump has caused this country, and realize that LeEGO is no different, and has done the same to our team.

  14. Really wanted to see Swider on the regular squad, his shooting is just undeniable and especially last yr they could have used that skill. After bouncing back from his injury, I was hoping he was still progressing enough to get more time on the regular squad,
good luck to the young man…

  15. Swider might be good to other contending teams. He might also fit with other young teams to gain his confidence and develop his game.

  16. So the Lakers decided to drop an outstanding 3 point threat but plays no defence and pick up another player who can play some defence but sucks on offence. Granted, Swider is useless on defence but he is probably one of the best 3 point shooters on the team. Way better than LeBron and AD BTW. I would rather keep Swider at South Bay Lakers and only use him for the NBA team on limited situations unless you're fine with LeBron jacking up his ego 3 point bricks.

  17. No offense but your content puts me to sleep. It’s waaaaaaaaaay too dry. A lot of looking at you talking instead of a good dose of video and graphics. At least half of whatever you’re talking about should be accompanied by HD video and graphics.

  18. This one is questionable. As I look across the roster, I don’t see a pure shooter. We do we count on when we absolutely need a 3. Last years roster was terrible shooting the 3. Denver killed us with the 3 ball and Jokic was just dominant. I still don’t see anyone that can defend Jokic. Needless to say we will see, I just think we need a pure shooter.

  19. He needs to go somewhere that teaches defense. He’ll probably get another look from another team. Although he didn’t max out on his opportunity with the Lakers, he got noticed. It’s the right move – no overwhelming improvement and new faces that show better possibilities.
