[My Expert Opinion EP 137] Rose: “Sh*t was so far from the truth. You let us in the apartment. We went in one at a time and it was so far from like a f****n train….if anything she owe me 20-30 thousand after the court case”

  1. Bro really went on a podcast to give his version of the events where he and his friends all ran through the same girl 💀💀💀💀

  2. Otherwise_Horse_1659

This version of events does not make dude sound good either lol

  3. dameplsrunfromgrind

Grizzlies either played 4D chess by bringing him in to show Ja what path NOT to go down or they played themselves

  4. HopScotchyScotch

I just question whether this even needs to be revisited. Something best left in the past.

  5. RelevantMacaron8813

It’s funny how that woman was clearly crazy and just tryna get paid but bc of that one quote everyone on Reddit thinks he’s guilty

  6. HoopsHistoryGuy

Wait so in the title the last part about owing 20-30k sounded like an opinion, but he said it like it was a fact. Was the result of the case her owing him? The only thing I know is Rose saying he doesn’t know what content means in court hahaha

  7. lets_talk_basketball

He’s a lil too old to be running trains. Not to mention you an nba mvp, why you doing that anyway

  8. 1eyed_jack

I believe his court quote was “we men”

  9. AbshirThePoet

Posting this once again cause ya’ll keep slandering this man

    > The 30-year-old accuser “lies about everything that comes out of her mouth,” Rose’s star witness, Gabriela Chavez, told the federal jury that’s been hearing the sordid, $21 million civil case for two weeks.

    > Chavez, a former close pal of the accuser, is now playing for Rose’s side, telling jurors that two weeks after the alleged assault, the woman specifically stated she had not been raped.

    > The accuser did tell Chavez that she was “pretty upset” about her August, 2013 romp with the player and two of his pals — but only because she hadn’t heard from Rose since.

    > “I ended up asking her, are you saying you were raped?” recalled Chavez, a wellness consultant, of a conversation they had two weeks after the accuser alleges Rose and his two pals attacked her in her LA apartment.

    > “She said, ‘No, but I did have sex with all of them,’” Chavez recalled to the jury.

    > The accuser told Chavez that she was hurt by Rose’s nonchalant reaction to the group sex — implying that she’d failed to make the star player jealous, Chavez said.

    > “She specifically said, ‘Oh he didn’t even care that I slept with them.’ Those were her exact words,” Chavez said.

    > “She lies to her family all the time,” Chavez said, looking directly at her former friend across the courtroom.

    > Rose’s attorney asked if the accuser was “a pathological liar” and Chavez answered without hesitation, “Definitely.”

I hate how this dude won in court, and you have the accusers friend saying it’s bullshit, and people STILL call him a r*pist. It’s like once you’re accused of r*pe, it’s done. Nothing will ever change that perception of you whether it was true or not.

  10. lugubrea

Bro, all you had to do was not talk about it again, why?

  11. Aggressive-Ad-756

He’s already in that grizzlie form

  12. australisland

Is this that “basketball” I’ve been hearing about?

  13. Ct2kKB24

Didn’t he testify in court he showed up unannounced, and they came in uninvited….

  14. zaor666

If they went and did the deed with her, 1 at a time… is that not a train?

  15. why the fuck would you admit publicly that you sat outside and waited for your turn to bang someone

  16. Mustard_Jam

To each their own but hooking up with a girl minutes after all your friends just ran through is so fucking weird.

  17. Thellamaking21

He won the court case. Idk why he’s still talking about it.

  18. notanaigeneratedname

Got me double checking the sub I’m in again.. Jesus.

  19. spanther96

sounds like she was from the skreeeets

  20. Cannot_See_Toes

And people always want to take the woman’s word when it’s an athlete involved even though they have a financial reason to lie. Society would be alot better if they didn’t form an opinion until after the case is done.

  21. SwimmingCoyote

Apparently DRose doesn’t understand the Streisand Effect. From a PR perspective, if should never touch this topic. He was acquitted and it hasn’t damaged him long term. By talking about it now, he’s giving it new life.

  22. NotClayMerritt

[Good](https://twitter.com/IYSKold/status/1685317356417916928?s=20) time to remind people about that specific case:

    1. There was text message evidence that doesn’t paint him in the best of light
    2. Man admitted that there was nothing to suggest that the woman wanted to have sex with him or his friends
    3. “We men. You can assume. Like leaving to go over to someone’s house at 1 am. There’s nothing to talk about.”
    4. Whilst drunk, she wanted him to come over. He said no and wanted her to come to his place. She refused. Then he pulled up outside of hers with his two friends.
    5. The same jury that acquitted him were taking selfies with him outside the courtroom moments after the case was settled.
    6. [He said he doesn’t understand what consent means](https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nba/columnist/jeff-zillgitt/2016/09/15/derrick-rose-accuser-says-he-doesnt-understand-consent/90428194/)

Y’all can think what you want, but I have no respect for this man.

  23. MilkeeBongRips

Everyone in here makes it so hard to even acknowledge whether Rose could be telling the truth or not. Just so disappointing to see the volume of misogynistic comments in this thread.

It’s always been this way. It just takes one case like this where a girl is a toxic individual and lies about this kind of stuff for every guy to start proclaiming how “scary and dangerous it is to be a man these days”. Like any woman would ever have a single reason to lie about them in the same way.

It’s like every other comment is talking about how bad it is to “believe every woman”. But then they go on to basically doubt every woman in the same breath just based on the possibility that one could be lying. Right on cue there’s a whole upvoted comment chain talking about how vindicated Johnny Depp was once everyone realized how crazy Amber Heard is. It’s like, you guys, he was still proven to be a massive piece of shit. An abuser.

I try to keep in mind that there are a lot of young people on here. But it’s just depressing to see this kind of discourse. Just remember the vast majority of rapes/sexual assaults go unreported. It is not an uncommon occurrence and whether you “believe every woman” or not, you *certainly* shouldn’t just be believing every man by default either.

  24. zzzzbear

    bro thats a train

he thinks a train is a gangbang lol

  25. captaincumsock69

Idk man there was some fishy stuff about that court case from my perspective

  26. JBluthes86

Why the fuck would he talk about this again? Not doing himself any favors.

  27. juckshot

This interview was from like 9 months ago, why is it just now getting attention???

  28. retroracer33

thats what a train is homie…god his PR people mustve felt their heart sink into their stomachs watching this shit

  29. hypercafspazz

Ok for real? Just create a new sub called nbaTMZ and just pull all this shit down. This is fucking gross and weird and not even remotely basketball related. Come on man. I get it’s the off-season but wtf.
