@Los Angeles Clippers

I truly believe it too..

We were just putting it all together when the pandemic hit.. I think 6 game winning streak before everything was shut down..

Beating the a lakers wouldn’t have been easy but we were beating them in all our head to head matchups.

Figure one of our best teams and chances was ruined by a global pandemic smh 😂

    bubble was not good for the NBA man.. affected so many teams’ chemistry- rockets looked unstoppable pre-bubble too.

    and now because the lakers won the mickey ring, LBJ compares it to Syria in every interview.

    as Steven Adams said, they were in a bloody resort. and not to mention you’re LBJ, you coulda gotten anything FOH

    There is no reality where the clippers were beating the lakers that year unless there were some crazy injuries. Lou Williams, montrezl harrell and Landry shamet we’re getting like 25+ mins a game. You can’t have that many players who are just dogshit in the playoffs and expect to win anything.

    Pg shit the bed and kawhi had 2 bad games but with or without pg playing bad they weren’t winning anything with those players and doc as the coach.

    Living in the past as a Clips fan is a slippery, depressing slope.

    Shamet played heavy minutes I’m surprised we even got past Dallas with how bad PG was playing for a few games. Even the 20-21 season it took a monumental effort from Kawhi to beat the Mavs. Either way Doc has proved he can’t make adjustments I don’t see his fav trezz being able to hang with AD in the bubble

    The clippers literally lost to the lakers the weekend before the league shutdown lol

    We were beating teams by 50 that year but we still had poor roster construction imo and that more than anything is what reared it’s ugly head during the bubble. Trezz Lou & Bev were all undersized for their positions. Shamets pretty tiny too. JayMichael was too small to guard bigs Mook too small… It’s like people don’t want to hear it but 2021 is the only year in this era the FO has put together a good team and not just a roster of good names

    In potential closeout game 5 Kawhi had 36 & PG had 26. In game 6 PG had 33 and Kawhi had 25. The rest of the team clearly just wasn’t that good bro they were combining for half the teams points some of these games

    They really didn’t want to be in the bubble. They checked out way before all the social unrest happened and never locked back in.

    Pg checked out that playoffs

    Bruh I’m so sick of this take. Ppl really think the bubble was reason we blew a 3-1 lead? Come on

    I think it was Doc more than the bubble, they just needed a change of coach way sooner.

    Doc somehow survived 3 eras (lob city, Tobias rebuilding stage, Kawhi/PG) when he shouldn’t have made it past the first one.
