A great example of how a guy can endear a fanbase with hard work, selling-out on the floor, accepting his role, and embracing his teammates. Nothing gave me more joy than when the Lakers were up big in a game and they would bring Madsen in to close the game and he’d make a shit ton of hustle plays and funny-ass shots.

I can’t remember who it was against, but he was dribbling and split two defenders. Then hit a quick jumper and yelled all savagely. It was awesome.
