  1. I say no Craig. Kuzma is not an impactful player. Last yr, he played the 5th most games on the team (64 games) and only had 1 win share (0.9 WS to be exact) per Basketball Reference.

The Wizards will still lose and be bottom-feeders with him on the floor, he doesn't matter. So, I don't think they'll be in that 35 win territory per status quo. This team will be winning 20 something games

  2. My only concern with re-signing Kuzma, I LOVE the fact that we didn’t let him walk for nothing, is the fact that the Knicks have our first round pick next year if it happens to fall out of the top 12. The way that our roster is currently constructed, even more so if we land Grant Williams, I could see a very similar season to the 22-23 Jazz. A team that surprised a lot of people early on in the season while hovering around those play-in positions in late February to early March.

  3. Craig, you're on fire. Keeping Kuz is keeping an asset. And, just hearing the team is in talks for other players this year is refreshing. It says they are fully off the hamster wheel. They are building a foundation. Two young guys with rings with upside and tradeable contracts is an asset. Poole and Kuz are not on super max deals. Bottom line, it's a smart move.
