Blazers Believe Shaedon Sharpe Has All Star potential

Some in Portland believe Shaedon Sharpe has All-Star potential. He’s a high-flier and highlight-reel dunker. Highkin: They like him a lot. They’re very high on his future to the point where when we’re talking about things they can do trade-wise, I don’t think he’d put in play for anything short of Joel Embiid or something like that.

  1. Bruh not just All-Star, MVP and Finals MVP multiple times because if you had to choose any young player to build around Wemby would be #1 and Shaedon would be #2 because of his high ceiling on both offense and defense.

At 19 without having played much HS basketball because of COVID/transferring academies before his growth spurt without ever goin back home to Canada, let alone not playing in college Shaedon has the exact same stats as a rookie as 21 year old James Harden had after playing 2 awesome years in college at Arizona State with KD/Russ/Jeff Green surrounding him. Scotty Brooks was the head coach who developed Harden from 9ppg-12ppg-16ppg and 6th man of the year to where once he got an expanded role as a starter he never averaged less than 26.7ppg 7.8apg until he got fat.

Shaedon is surrounded by leadership Harden wasnt and is still growing with more high end athleticism and he can shoot at a much more efficient level while being able to defend more like a peak Paul George/create and make his own shot without dribble the air out of the ball/handle with more size and length to be able to make plays for others without over-dribbling while teammates are stagnant off the ball/turnovers.

  2. Blazers won't have another top 3 pick for another 10 years or so. Lillard is worth more than he'll ever be worth. Keep the pick, trade lillard. It's a no brainer.

  3. if you watched all season. then you have seen the progression in his game. dude is mega legit
