  2. I think Rui could be that second star by the time AD's extension kicks in. He has the size, he can score from all 3 levels and he is going to improve on defense even more in the next two seasons.

  3. Two things its a trade asset for next big star and AD will have to up his game to be best player on the court

  4. The 🐐 JSM! Glad Lakers signed AD! He is the best defensive player in the NBA period. I hope he can play 65 games to get himself DPOY and bring another Championship!

  5. Adding on to the Jaylen Brown thing, Jayson Tatum is rumored to be signing an even bigger contract

  6. AD loves LA. Beyond Lebron, we can still be competitive with the pieces we have. If we could get a better player than DLo, we can beat Denver or Suns.

  7. Hell no bubble davis was the best he could shoot defend and grab rebound at a high level get out of here with that narrative that this was one of his best season as a laker bubble Davis was him

  8. Glad the he signed for the extension. Can't wait for the season to start. Now let's get a center!! Respects.

  9. Was a necessary move. Gets a bump if he can finally stay healthy enough to play 70 games a season

Gives options depending on what happens going forward

  10. Honestly, not a fan. While I like AD's game, understand that age 30 is where the decline begins for the majority of athletes. Add in the reality that AD has dealt with a myriad of long term injuries over his career (including last year) IMO locking up Davis to a max contract is simply not team friendly. Given the team's perpetual residence in salary cap hell, by keeping Davis, we will always have to look for mid level or bargain basement deals to fill out the rest of the roster. Also the fact that LeBron has made it very clear he wants to play alongside Brony if/when he turns pro, that means our ability to make that happen will cripple the Lakers moving forward. Either by losing tons of draft capital or having to move valuable pieces just to accommodate the trade necessary to fulfill this wish. And while the cap is continuing to rise steadily, remember that player's salaries will rise as well. I'm certain that the Lakers cap-ologists are far better and smarter than myself; but as a life long Lakers fan, I know pattern recognition.

  11. sayin bron is a top 10 or top 15 player is crazy i ain gon lie this year 20!!!! scoring leader in year 20!!!! he is definitely top 5 goof

  12. as long as he's healthy for the Playoffs it'll be worth it but that's always going to be the question mark with him

  13. The big Question is…how many games Anthony Davis can played his maximum Contract because his last maxi contract they played only half of his 5 years contract. Now A Davis get his new maxi contract he become more WISER & more business mindset & not playing hard & competitive, he much more injuries come into happen because hes priority is MONEY & more business in the Future.
