It’s known Brunson declined it after the trade deadline, which is what tim says. Brunson wanted to sign it in December/Jan but mavs wanted to wait to keep their options open for trade deadline and by that time Brunson decided to bet on himself.

This is all old news. Mavs massively fucked up. Can’t be overstated how big of a fuck up it was. But it’s history now

I thought it was known that there was a time when the Mavs refused to offer it but Brunson would have taken it. But there was also a later time where the mavs offered it but brunson said no.

This sub will still spin it

Because siding with criminal Rick Brunson is for some reason more comforting to these doomer fans than shootings their own franchise.

Would be pretty funny if Luka wins a ring with Kyrie and Brunson gets bounced in the first or second round in the next few seasons.

Then anybody watch after the Mavs talk? The one guy saying that if the Lakers offered Austin Reeves and the contracts of Bomba and Beasley to Portland they would have to seriously think about it for Lillard. Wtf. Is Austin Reeves being extremely overvalued because he’s a Laker? Am I missing something?

Donnie and Mark fucked up with his rookie contract. He never should have been an unrestricted free agent in the first place. The end. He’s gone.
