It is actually a joke that Rudy got 0 All defensive votes last year. Rudy was a dominant defensive presence last year with the wolves being 2nd in the nba in defense with Rudy on the floor and 28th when he was off it. He was just not the generational defender he has been in the past. The wolves probably overpaid for Rudy, but he is still elite at the skills he does well and the National media can’t separate the trade from how good Rudy actually was defensively last year.
