Christian Wood can be a viable option if he thinks long term or if the Cs sees him as a possible future Al Horford replacement. Him on a contending team could only bolster his value throughout the league and maybe even prolong his career as he wouldn't be asked to play the same heavy minutes but at the same time could have some minutes as a starter in some games.
