The Moment players who can shoot play for the Lakers. They become brick machines, it's time to accept it.
Perimeter defense got better, playmaking is about the same, paint defense, rebounding and shooting are still going to be an issue.. I still like our chances this year if we can put it all together.
Vanderbilt grew 2 inches, so he'll be more accurate by 2 inches 🤣
3,s are needed but open 18/20 foot 2,s are helpful as well IF i t opens the lane for your low post players

I'm much happier seeing DLO jack up 7 threes and missing 5 than LBJ because I know DLO's SHOULD fall and I also know LBJ is wasting his greatness by jacking them up
Not just the shooters creating on the spot plays except if the team have klay or curry, its also the couching staff, develop or make plays to make better percentage shots, don't just rely on the players. Poor beasley, didn't know what to do. Well can't blame the lakers, the pieces acquired are late going to the post season. Lets see this coming season. Go Lakers!

Its easy.. Stop relying on Lebron James to shoot threes. He's been terrible. Allow Christie to shoot threes and Hachimura.
Implement a rule for Bron and AD, if they miss their first two 3 pt attempts, they are only allowed to shoot 4 for the game. No more 1-8 or 0-6 games from them.
Lebron needs to work on his 3 or stop shooting as much. Makes me wonder why he's shooting so much? Has aged affected him that he can't drive to the basket as much anymore?
The 3pt factor is/has been the team's major weakness as shown, experienced in the past 2-3 seasons. Ive always 'wonder, dream' ,,,, wht if klay Thompson wears the gold n purple jersey ?

OR…….the Lakers are not even trying to improve on the 3 but the perimeter. Probably they faced the reality that LAL's not really a 3 pt shooting team, they keep on trying to improve from the 3, why not improve from the more reliable and higher efficiency perimeter instead…that's my opinion.
Vando has improved his 3 point shooting.
The Lakers should do better in offensive sets. Stop giving the ball to Lebron and just standing around. The Lebron offense makes the Lakers predictable and easily defended

Easy, this is no-brainer….stop LBJ from shooting 3's…we will see a dramatic improvement in three-point shooting…add Vando should overhaul his shooting mechanics…

The only thing is Lebron needs to stop shooting that many 3s. Unless he makes the first 2 out of 3, he shouldn't take over 3 threes a game. The Lakers should set this limit to Lebron and anything over will involve a punishment that Lebron will really care, or force him to play 48 minutes the next game so that he knows he cannot get any rest if he goes over.
We need to be top 3 in defensive stats ALL yr…if we are, that should leak over to our offense in ah good way…we have size an shooting it's ah fineky thing with shooting that it's hot or cold…STEPH is thee only dude that shhh don't apply…whole lota back door cuts an mid range should be our game…3s only when wide open…2nd chance boards yea buffet style..let's eat!?!🫵😜

This team, on paper, is one of the worst 3 point shooting team in the league. And that’s one of the reasons why i think they had a really mid offseason. They didn’t fix any of the issues they had, being the lack of a strong physical center that can rebound and protect the rim, and the lack of 3 point shooting.
If Lebron shoots 40 percent less 3s this season. Our 3 point shooting will be fine.
Somebody tell LeBron to stop shooting 3 pt when he could get a 2 pt for the win when there are only a few seconds left in the game.
Interesting topic. I think best case scenario Lebron gets back to 36% on a lower number of attempts (and stop those deleterious logo attempt early in the clock), Rui and Reeves are at 38% on a medium volume of attempts, Dlo at 40%, Gabe 37-38%, T Prince 37% and Vando gets to 33-34%. AD I lost hope in his 3pt, happy if he focuses on defense, rebounding (God knows we will need it given the lack of centers we have) and paint/mid-range.
Preparing the minds to get tricked in believing that suddenly the shooters on the team can’t shoot anymore. They will again turn the magnet off for the Lakers. This shot is so predictable
