What would happen if Jimmy wins a ring and Finals MVP

In my mind he is in the discussion for greatest heat player of all time, and by in the discussion I mean a very close second, I think because of how much time D-wade spent with the team it will be hard to knock him off that pedestal, but I genuinely believe what Jimmy has already accomplished he is already the second greatest to put on a heat jersey.

In what year did you start watching basketball?

I love Jimmy Butler, but respectfully I don’t think Jimmy has any chance to pass Dwyane Wade, unless he just goes absolutely crazy winning rings from this point on, what Wade did for Miami in that 06 Finals was legendary, and then brought Miami 2 more chips with Bron and Bosh, had Jimmy won this finals as the 8th seed we’d be having serious discussions about him being very close to Bron, but you also can’t just dismiss Alonzo Mourning

You think he’d be considered over Wade? Are you high? You must be high.

Stop. No one is surpassing wade on this current roster. Maybe one day that player will come, but dwade made the heat a championship caliber organization. He is the Miami Heat. No other player will ever be as important or synonymous with the team. Jimmy is amazing and if he wins one here he’s comfortably put himself into the top 3 with wade and Lebron.

No, simply no. He is already the 3rd best player for us and a finals mvp will 100% guarantee he makes the HOF. But we really gotta stop acting like LeBron didn’t win 2 MVPs in our uniforms and lead us to 4 straight finals. I get LeBron wasn’t here long but for what he did I just don’t think Jimmy will pss him or Wade.

Jimmy obviously becomes one of the greatest Heat players and has a hall of fame resume. But greatest Heat player of all time is a bit of a stretch. Dwayne Wade is the greatest Heat player there’s no debate

What kind of dumb recency bias is this?

Jimmy ascends to #2 past LeBron in the Heat pantheon but nobody that we didn’t draft is getting close to Wade, ever

I’ve never loved a player more than Jimmy Butler. I dropped the only team I loved when they turned his back on him. I had to be a Twolves fan, and a 76ers fan, but I’ve been the happiest seeing Jimmy play for the Heat.

That said, I wouldn’t put Jimmy above D. Wade.

I think if he wins 3 championships (finals MVP not necessary for all three) then he’s in the discussion with Wade. Also, D Wade recruited his ass here so he would also need to recruit his replacement lmao.

Love jimmy but hes gonna need 3 to be in the convo. To even BE IN THE CONVO.

Josh Hart would be the wicked witch of the West screaming ” Noooo I’m melting!!!” And the Boston Celtics would instantaneously go fuck themselves…

It would be a fun discussion, I guess, but Wade is still the clear number 1.

A more worthy discussion would be Jimmy vs Lebron for number 2.
