Yea not sure how he can say Jaren just finding out how good he can be on defense since dude been great since he came in. Only one year he was not that good was his second under a different coach. Other than that he been first time. Also saying he not good is pick and roll make little sense if he is good with Des. Jaren finishing is still very good. It’s Morant shooting that’s been the problem. I think that’s why Ja and Clark work well because you can have Jaren spot up. Jaren definitely needs to set better screens he look like he barely be legal when setting his screens. Still not sure how the Smart thing going to work. But we will see come to see.
The fact that Zach Kleiman STILL thinks the Grizzlies can both contend for a title and develop young players/projects just shows you how clueless that privileged dude is. A team that wants to make a deep run in the playoffs CAN'T have unknowns like Zairie Williams, David Roddy, Jake LaRavia, and John Konchar taking up roster spots. Zach's job the past two off seasons has been to surround Ja, Bane, and Jaren with vets with playoff experience and he's failed at doing that. As far as Ja and Jaren developing chemistry, it's hard for Ja to trust a spoiled guy who plays HORRIBLE in the playoffs and that describes Jaren Jackson Jr.
