In reference to your remark at 2:15 Jonathan Issac is very popular amongst conservatives and christians (as your co-host alluded to). The shoe is much more for the meaning of it instead of profits, so the fact he isn't as popular is not is irrelevant.
Also if you actually think, JI has hurt Orlando think about it. If he wasn't injured and let's say he played at a all defensive level. Now what? Before Paolo and Mo you had no star power. What would of happened y'all would of maybe made the play in game? Maybe?
To go further in what way is JI pandering. He made sure to get the shoes responsibly sourced, because Christians constantly talk against Nike but then buy Mike and say we have no other options. He’s providing an option for his community.
