> No matter what signals the Sixers might send when it comes to trade talks, a source close to Harden reiterated that the 10-time All-Star and former MVP no longer wants to play for Philadelphia and has no plans of taking part in training camp. Does that mean he won’t report if a deal doesn’t go down by that point, or that he’ll make a messy spectacle of his training camp arrival like he did when he was trying to get out of Houston back in December of 2020? That part remains unclear, with Harden’s side still expressing a belief that there will be meaningful developments on the trade talk front before that time comes. The source spoke on the condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the situation.

> As The Athletic reported in mid-July, rival executives have long been convinced that Morey was trying to keep Harden in Philadelphia. Harden asked out in late June, when his anger over how Morey handled his possible free agency led to his choice to pick up the player option for next season (worth $35.6 million) while simultaneously requesting the trade.

“Fat suit, my long lost friend.”

  2. KuyaJohnny

Sixers fans somehow still think he’s gonna play hard to “earn his next deal”

    Man I love Harden

I hope he stays in the East, keep blowing up competitors teams please

  4. Batman_in_hiding

At this point the sixers are basically begging embiid to ask out.

  5. fireglz

Morey is playing with fire here, especially if dirty laundry starts getting aired out between the two. There was always some speculated under the table collusion(From the media) between Philly and Harden from Brooklyn, I would absolutely pay this man for his silence if I did anything even remotely incriminating.

NBA always wants blood from Philly, if they find even the smallest reason it feels like they might jump at it.

They should just print contracts on toilet paper. They’re a joke.

  7. eutectic_h8r

He’s gonna sit on the bench eating cheese steaks all camp

  8. ArroganceIsPotent

Harden suddenly pulled a hamstring saying that

  9. SaltedThighs

The 76ers aren’t winning a chip with or without him.

  10. trevortins

This is gonna be fun harden gonna fuck everything up and make embiid ask out as a parting gift to Morey.

Fat Harden will be a hot Halloween costume this year

  12. Naismythology

Everything about this is just fantastic. The best part though is still “Harden no longer wants to play in Philadelphia, but picked up his player option because he couldn’t get his money from anywhere else.” That’s 4D chess entitlement at its finest.

  13. mharri05

Lol, 76ers traded a hold out for another hold out. The 76ers aren’t the problem though… hmmm.

I walked into Oppenheimer right when the news dropped that Philly is done trying to trade Harden and wants to make it work with him.

I walked out to see Harden is done with Philly and won’t report to camp.

    Great movie.

Then he shouldn’t have opted in to his deal. I was sympathetic the first time around but this is getting ridiculous.

  16. SeeingThings123

He just wants to be closer to those Trill Burgers down in Houston, is all

  17. TheRealDevDev

thanks for taking away the shine philly. i was tired of dame and portland being the nonstop gossip story.

  18. sparty212

Going the Ben Simmons route, bold move.

  19. BlackmoorGoldfsh

James Harden can’t win a championship so is apparently going for the “most teams demanded a trade from” record.

  20. electricHats75

Fine him. Who would want him anyway, he’s done this to 3 teams in the last 4 years

  21. BigBootyBanger

Harden turning down that Nets extension looking like a top 5 bag fumble potentially

  22. Illustrious-Stuff-70

He got fucked with taking the discount, but damn bro lol…..you stay requesting trades lol….Rockets to the Nets to Sixers lol….

  23. Scary-Strategy-4460

Harden is like a GOAT-tier malcontent lol

  24. EJohns1004

Call his bluff Philly. Hopefully he has to sit out a season.

I’m sick of this deva BS with NBA players. Players like him are becoming more unlikable by the second.

  25. theblackyeti

How about you play through the contract you signed.

  26. OkSession3933

Damn didn’t think he would do this. Thought he would show up for the game checks and play unmotivated

  27. eexxiitt

What an unfortunate end to hardens career. He’s gonna balloon and that’ll be the end of it :/

  28. RestAndVest

And this is the nba in a nutshell. Opt into a contract and demand a trade

  29. SpartyParty15

Can’t wait to see the Harden fans come out to defend this shit 💀

  30. PensiveinNJ

  31. Send_Me_Blade_Porn

    What a fucking loser lmao

He actually gonna out the fat suit on

  32. djsunyc

we have now entered a timeline where ben simmons will play more games next season than harden.
    kang has been unleashed.

  33. Naismythology

Remember when Jimmy Butler wanted out of Minnesota so he just showed up to practice and kicked everyone’s ass? I think if this goes to training camp, this will be like that, but the opposite. Harden is going to show up with five cheesesteaks for everyone on the team, and keep doing so until his demands are met.

  34. huge-tits

Why don’t more players just retire early? So many of them clearly don’t give a shit about basketball and they’re already set for life.

  35. Hot-Afternoon168

Always hated Harden. Well, I liked him for a little bit.
