Didn’t live up to that impossible standard, but had a few decent moments for the Dubs. I don’t think he and McCaw were bad picks. NBA is just brutally competitive. The guys at the bottom of the roster get churned almost every season.
Look at Ian Clark, Quinn Cook, James McAdoo, Ky Bowman, Chiozza, etc. Warriors have had so much stability with Steph/Klay/Dray, but the bottom of the roster has always been a revolving door. You can be sitting on the bench next to a 10 year vet multimillionaire while worrying about not even being in the league 3 months from now.
This year Trayce Jackson-Davis is basically in the Bell spot, with a chance to show that he can add value and stick. Hopefully Dray will teach him about hooping and not about throwing hands.
