A proper trade from Atlanta is Hunter, Capella, Griffin and future draft picks. Having two dominate centers splitting minutes gives Darko advantage. Siakiam needs to be traded asap.

Siakam situation is pretty simple. There's absolutely no reason for an extension happening this offseason & Siakam definitely doesn't want to get traded YET. Obviously, Siakam will want to play for Toronto next season & try to achieve that ALL NBA selection to be eligible for a super max. Which he will be ineligible if traded to another team..
The prob for Toronto- if Siakam doesn't earn that all NBA/super max deal, there's NO guarantee he actually stays in Toronto as an UFA. As other teams with significant cap space such as Philly can lure him with big money. Do the Raptors risk it? Lose him for nothing? Is he worth the super max if eligible? Knowing you have to pay Barnes & Anunoby big money as well. There's Trent jr & Achuiwa as well needing extension. Keep in mind the new CBA..
IMO, the roster has reached its ceiling and it's the perfect time to press the reset button – rebuild. Don't see a realistic scenario they can keep/pay all their core guys anyway. Not to mention be in the mix out East with that core. Lastly, for Barnes to reached his highest potential & for Anunoby to have a bigger role he craves, Siakam needs to go..
But don't expect much in return coz he's basically considered a rental at this point..
Enjoy Europe. Don’t waste your time on Doug smith. He knows nothing. Also I know you love pascal but objectively shopping him makes sense. He as your best player hasn’t led Toronto to much success. Team first, not players fan club.

Team Canada needs guys like Trey Lyles and/or Kyle Wiltjer. Big, mobile power forwards who have great court vision and can spread the floor. Wiltjer balled out in qualifying and I have no clue why the Scrubb brothers are there instead of him and Trey. Hopefully if we make the Olympics coach will choose the best and drop this 3 year commitment thing they've handcuffed themselves with.
