Nevermind that last season Miami had more injuries and was still the 1 seed with essentially the same core as now. They're an 8 seed on paper. You can tell when the playoffs arrived they flipped the switch. Miami is currently on their revenge tour.
2020 lost to Lakers in NBA finals.
2021 lost to Bucks in first round.
2022 lost to Celtics in 7 in ECF.
2023 beat Bucks. Threw in Knicks for old time sake / Pat Riley's revenge. Himmy just has to be healthy and beat the Celtics so he can go against LeBron in another finals and hopefully get his first ring.

One of the best things Miami has done all Playoffs is not cried to the refs after shots… its a big part of their success.. cuz for one all that does is make u a target bc refs are humans with emotions as well.. and 2 i cant believe how many fast breaks ive seen these playoffs bc a guys standing down at the other end complaining to the refs.. ive never seen anything like it.. its insane actually… and ive never seen so many people fkn fall on the court for no reason whatsoever other than to get a call… i hope they adress that bs this off-season
