I just finished watching the video above and left a bit confused about how this will affect the schedules.
Does this mean we can play a west coast team potentially 3 times? Or will the schedule be adjusted depending on the match up.

I like how they say groups randomly chosen but then immediately tell you they’re not randomly chosen and are chosen based on records last year
If you make it all the way to the final and the team you’re facing is a west coast team than yes you would face them 3 times instead of once. However unlike every other game during the tournament, the final game doesn’t count towards the regular season.
