There is no rush for Siakam or the FO to do anything unless it benefits both. Siakam wants to stay. He’s not disgruntled and even if he doesn’t make allNBA and 35% of cap; he will still get up to 140% of his last year earnings under the new cba by signing with raptors. Likely with a trade bonus option. Raptors will keep him through 2024-25 season before they will have to consider moving off of him to make room for Scottie’s money.
Trust me Siakam will still have legs and be worth 50+mil/year with 3years remaining as a second option on any contender team.
