Reggie Miller on the James Harden drama : “. Joel Embiid was the MVP last year, correct?… Have you ever heard of someone not wanting to play with an MVP? How could someone want out from playing against the reigning MVP?”

  1. Harden quitting on Philly like he quit on Brooklyn and Houston

Crazier to think that Dame wants out but doesn’t want to play with the reigning MVP either

Reggie played with 0 All NBA players until the tail end of his career, let alone any MVP caliber teammates. It probably hurts him to see someone try to walk away from from an opportunity he never had.

Kinda wild how James has played with Embiid and KD in the last few years and wanted out in both scenarios.

  5. vrkhfkb

Harden literally wanted to stay. He just wanted money. Has nothing to do with embiid.

He was the fake MVP. We all know Jokic should have won his 3rd straight but voter fatigue is real. True mvps of the last decade have been Lebron Curry Giannis Joker . The rest have been pretenders.

Not sure why Reggie is trying to spin this into a Harden vs Embiid thing. The issue is with Morey. Embiid is just collateral damage.

  8. hatsofftoroyharper41

Harden saying all this to be in China good books as China hate Morey, and Harden is currently in China

It’s about the charity he wants to give to the strip clubs. Bigger contract means more charity. Ain’t got nothing to do with Embiid.

    *MVPitty to be precise

And Harden knows very well he and Embiid never winning anything

Harden made Joel the MVP. If harden doesn’t go to Philly, Joel is not an MVP.

The NBA would be better off without him. While highly skilled in the craft, he always makes the viewing & fan support experience worse.

Harden is a malcontent who employs crappy representation.

KD left Steph Curry. Shaq left Kobe. Kyrie left LeBron. Kawhi left Duncan.

I’m 1000% sure there are other examples.

Long term $$$, just like his buddy Kyrie

I’m a Reggie fan but he seemed to either be nervous or just not at his sharpest in this one. “Molway”. “Joel MVP was the MVP”. “Want out from playing against the MVP”.

A bit painful to watch, really.

I think the point Reggie is making is that he wouldn’t value more money over playing with the reigning MVP and back to back points leader in the league.

It seems to me that Harden wants more money but he keeps doing everything he can to avoid the max contracts offered to him over the last 4 years. So idk, maybe harden just doesn’t have a strategy beyond “I want to get paid”.

I wouldn’t want to play with a choke artist.

I mean the man threw all his teammates under the bus when he choked. I expect him to the same again

  19. rapsfan911

because everyone knows joker the real mvp

  20. typespirit

“back to back MVP, I gotta get out” LMAO DKM reggie

  21. ThaEyeTest

Harden don’t believe in the process period
