Rui gone be on this Year!!! I got Vando starting & Rui coming off the Bench as well.
We have to have Vando or Prince on the Court @ all Times to guard those Super Fast/Athletic SF like Ingram/DeRozan/Durant/Tatum/etc.
I think We got Vincent to guard those Really Good Smaller Guards like Steph/Spida/Ja/Trae/Dame/etc. I don't think Vando can hang with Them on a consistent basis. Vando can guard SG/SF & some PF.
I would not put him in too much isolation scenario because Lakers have Reaves, LeBron, DeAngelo, and now Gabe Vincent for that. He definitely have some Kawhi like offensive skills, but he is not as efficient at it. Hopefully, he worked on his offensive skills, 3 pointers, and more importantly help defense.
One reason I don’t believe in Ham is his failure to feature Rui in pick and pops pick n roll with DLo, Lebron, AReeves. That would get Rui open mid range shots, once defenses collapse on the ball!! I would bring him off the bench also, as 6th man. Playing 31 MPG. If Reeves was a better defender I would start Rui. If Lakers start AReeves at point guard and Max , CReddish, or TPrince at SG, I would start Rui besides AD and Lebron!!
Know this video is about Rui, have a feeling he’s gonna take it up another level. But when you started naming players on the roster realized how deep LAKERS are. Wow !!!

His 16 ft is butter and would of been a favorite for Phil Jackson. This is a Phil Jackson team. I don't know how he did as a GM but I know it was a requirement for him when he was a coach for the bulls/lakers. Especially his centers had to shoot at least 16 ft. Fit and on floor chemistry matters and this is why Lebron and Ad will need to play in at least 60 games each and hopefully that we keep them out of the play in. A lineup without AD or Lebron is NOT good enough to get a top 4 seed. DLo, Reeves and Rui are nice pieces to put around all stars they are NOT all star caliber players. It’s different when the opposing team is focusing on them when AD or Lebron is out of the lineup.

I'm keeping lebron at PF unless he shows he can defend elite wings like Jason Tatum, Kawhi Leonard, and Jimmy Butler and also proves he can be a reliable 3 point shooter (at least 35%)
I'm keeping AD at center unless he shows he can defend on the perimenter and at least have a consistent mid-range shot (like Pau gasol, kevin garnett), a 3 point shot would be a bonus.
I only want derozan if the Bulls buy him out
