Yes. But after ESPN pointed it out he's gonna play. The schedule also forces him too barring a freak injury since I'm pretty sure the matchups are a just over a week apart iirc.
In the end though nothing Embiid will do will matter for now cus he's stuck in the second round. It's hard to say they're competing for championships when one of them hasn't even had a chance to get out of the East…

I am certain Embiid has trepedation, but I think it is the "sports media" that push false narratives who are more afraid of this matchup. The media has to push their stupid narratives trying to increase controversy. If Embiid goes and does poorly it just makes clear how foolish and stupid their false narratives are.

The real question is whether Embiid will still be on the 6ers in January or whether he demands a trade since James Harden is being traded and they might not be able to find a replacement.
