In the statement, the MLSE and Raptors deny any wrong doing and say that they’re committed to cooperate and won’t comment further till the problem is resolved to the satisfaction of both parties. We’ll have more on this story as it develops.

If even part of the allegations are true then the consequences to the Raptor organization will be damaging for a number of years as the League will undoubtedly level sanctions that will include the loss of multiple draft picks. I would suggest those that are skeptical go and examine how MLB dealt with a similar event involving the St. Louis Cardinals and the Houston Astros.
