Miami Heat Coach Erik Spoelstra: “It’s hard not to look at Anthony Edwards and not see Dwayne Wade. And I’m not a guy for comparisons but the way he moves, the way he competes, the way he electrifies a crowd reminds me of #3…I feel like I’m going back in time”

The things id do to get spo coaching ant and the wolves. Sadly spo is a legend in miami and is gonna be there for probably a long long time

So now that the man that coached the majority of Wade’s career has said it, am I allowed to without the greater NBA fanbase saying I’m getting ahead of myself?

That coming Spoelstra might be the most meaningful complement he’s received yet. Being compared to a top 20 player of all that retired only like three years ago by his own coach. That’s high praise! I’m so happy!

Spo went on to say “Now we just need Lebron”

Wish he could get 06′ Wade’s whistle too in the playoffs.

DWade himself said that Ant reminded him of himself and he thought Ant could be a better player than he ever was in the winter of Ant’s rookie season. That comp has always been there.
