James Harden was just fined 100k. Ja was suspended 25 games.
The Knicks were caught violating tampering rules. Does everyone tamper? Yes, probably. Are most teams smart enough not to get caught? Yes, definitely. The Knicks fucked up leaving a paper trail and so they got what they got. I don’t have an issue with it from the league side; the team should have been smarter about it.

I respect the meme but AFAIK nothing about Harden’s supposed verbal agreement with Daryl Morey was illegal. Ja also got fined and suspended for 20 games, which is definitely going to cost the NBA a lot of money.
Do you have any idea how many home and road games people are going to nope out of because they know Ja is suspended? I know 20 games seems like nothing to some but that’s more significant than many thought the punishment would be.
