Watching this I realized I’m gonna miss the highs of when Poole goes prime MJ. There is nothing you could do. My second team to support next season is the Wizards

When Poole explodes you know you’re winning. Same feeling I get when Curry, Luka or LeBron get going
Edit for clarity: no, Poole is not as skilled as Luka and Curry. But when he explodes most often we won. You get the feeling you got this. Not many players give me that

Lol Prime MJ averaged 40+ points in a playoff series. Poole’s only gotten 40+ points like twice.

Never going to forget that 22 playoff run. I remember game 6 against the Celtics when he showed up I knew we won

Sorry, the dude’s gotta get his dribble under control and learn to play some defense to get anywhere near MJ.
asBad_asItGets
He was fun to watch when he got hot. But he was bloodboilingly infuriating when he wasn’t. The bad defense. The turnovers. The terrible shot selection. It wasn’t worth it. But when the times were good, he was awesome to watch.
Will never forget or NOT give credit to him almost single-handedly ending the Celtics in the first quarter of game 6. He will live on in Warriors history for that alone.

“Prime MJ” and Jordan Poole are so far apart they might as well be different planets.
You must be the worlds biggest Jordan Poole fan.

And then he added the slip n slide in ‘23

I’m going to miss having Poole around. As frustrating as he was, I really do think he’ll put it all together at some point. Hopefully Washington is going to be a good place for him.

#MJ was a GOAT wing defender. That sentence is blasphemy to be honest.
Poole ain’t 50% of Curry let alone MJ smh. Stop it.
Poole is a WOAT 6-4 defensive player candidate.
The only players he’s worse than are sub 6 ft.
If Poole helps the Wiz get to the playoffs I’ll entertain respecting his game once again.
For now he’s a Corey Maggette All-Star… nice stats… but look at the score when he goes into the game and look at it when he comes out.
I appreciate the heaters he occasionally had but he was never better than the 7th or so best player on the squad factoring both sides of the ball.

I don’t remember seeing prime MJ chuck up 35 footers 6 seconds into the shot clock 4 times a game and brick every single one.
Maybe I’m missing something?

Prime MJ was an all world defender. Prime MJ was literally unstoppable offensively. Tell me you have never watched MJ play without telling me, bro.
This is a terrible comparison.

As incredible as he’s was @ times, I just can’t forgive the 30ft heat checks, the traffic cone defense and the god awful turnovers.
I get folks have nostalgia for him and I enjoyed 2021-2022 just like everyone else but glad he’s gone. He took Steph and Klays mentorship for granted and the fact that he gave ZERO effort on defense in his 4th year is unforgivable IMO. ✌️
