i think all these teams are valid except for the rockets, i understand the others as they are directionless, but the rockets have a plan in place that you can see in the future, and the contracts aren’t even as bad as people make it out to seem
their plan isn’t to immediately win, it’s to grow and gain experience and become an okc/magic like team

Your Rockets take is just awful and i'm a Pistons fan. FVV had a down year, but he was the main option on a bad raptors roster, it's not like he fell off. A year ago everyone screamed that NY overpaid for Brunson, look how that turned out.

Honestly, i think Jaylen Brown getying paid was bigger over payment than anything the league has ever seen. We have yet to see what Houston is capable of, we already know what Brown does and doesn't do…..
Houston had a good off-season….. VanVleet contract is 2 years guaranteed..Brooks contract has a yearly salary that decreases every year…not as bad as one would think by just looking at the overall numbers. Brooks was an all defensive player last year and VanVleet is in his prime, and a borderline all star (made it year before last)

Bringing in a vet in vanvleet, good coach and a defensive minded player who have both been humbled recently, look at Brooks play in fiba. These are great people to put around a young core. The rocket can't get worst and these moves will help the team over all
