Any team can get a lil bit stagnant against the Miami Heat and Spoelstras defense. In the playoffs the ball always slows down. Theres nobody deep in the playoffs moving the ball around like a hot potato. Its halfcourt iso ball once u get past the 1st round. The knicks had the 3rd best offense per 100possessions last year. If it aint broke, dont fix it.

When people study basketball this Knicks offense is a coaching decision to control your team. My brother played for Coach Dale Brown . He became famous for a defense really designed by Tex Winters called the freak. Defense Coaches want to keep their jobs by limiting offense and getting an image through their offense.
It’s not that we’re not good on offense it’s that this offense is old school no strategy that’s innovative. 😊

We have one of the best ISO scorers in the game, and the squad lacks passing/playmaking pretty much across the board. What the Knicks primarily needed vs Miami was better floor spacing. More ball movement would be great but it's also dependent on personnel.

Yeah, KOC speaks some truth. Knicks can’t keep everyone and still think they’re a title contender. You’re going to have to forfeit some pieces in order to get a Donovan Mitchell or a Joel Embiid. This is going to be a very interesting season. I’m not scared of Milwaukee now that they fired their coach but I still do fear the Celtics in post season. The Knicks cannot afford any hiccups against opportunistic play-in teams.
I really hope to see some movement on the floor this year, I remember being at the last Knicks-Celtics game in the garden this year and being impressed by the ball movement. If Tibbs reverts back to a stagnant offense this season I will be severely disappointed
