I think Ted Rogers Jr. has more power in the org now that MLSE is selling shares. Rogers doesnt want to spend the money. The team will force Rogers to spend if we do good this year! We have aspirations, knowing a process is everything. I love to watch guys progress!

top 4 seed is what im looking for. missing the playoffs is not it and this core has to do better than being a 5th seed. i expect this team to give me homecourt for the first round of the postseason.

For me this is a building block year. I expect 4-6th seed and big jumps from Scottie, Precious, Og. I expect a jump from koloko and gary as well. I expect Otto to have some impact and I think Dennis and Jakob will be steadying anchors. I think pascal will try and be a more vocal leader and I expect better development in general.

1st in the east, we finally have a bench and center. Scottie entering year 3 and can start at point giving us a big lineup. That plus us having a good bench of precious boucher Schroeder and being under dogs with no expectations. We’re gonna surprise a lot of casuals
Progress in all aspects is what I wanna see this season anything less I will be disappointed.

We have a rookie coach, new look to the team, and some very very solid key players who have been with us for a while. I think we are going to see more sharing of the rock, a better attitude in the dressing room that will be reflected throughout the entire team's play. We have some exciting new players for sure… but they have to be developed to NBA level and prove themselves as being able to contribute consistently. One thing for them to tear up the College ranks and maybe G-league but another when they step up. So too many moveable parts but I agree with you Chev that we are always happy and optimistic
Hey, remember, we had some bad luck last year…. we made that trade for Otto Porter Jr. and he came up lame with injuries. That was a tough break. We had Fred try to do the same old every game -hereo hog ball – under the blessing of Nurse and it didn't work – again. We gonna have a fresh start this year. I laugh when ESPN puts us at 25th power ranking. That is just pure motivation and more fuel for us to prove them all wrong. It is so insulting to our team, our star players, and our organization and the best fans in the league. No other team has a SUPERFAN in the Hall of Fame. We have the 8th largest capacity arena in the NBA but have the 4th largest attendance. Go figure that. We outperform. Our fans are the best. We sell out. If we were to build a bigger arena we'd be no. 1.

Too many what ifs on the team. What if Scottie takes the next step? What if OG can learn how to dribble can he avg 20? Will Gradey be able to stay on the court long enough defensively to be an effective shooter? I see 35 to 40 wins.

I have no doubt in my mind that the Raptors will be a problem this season. People still respect them. They just won't say it. They like getting their ears tickled by the media.

I'm not putting any big expectations on them so they have space for error.. so making the playoff is a plus..play-in I rather not. I'll give them another 1-3 years to prove themselves
Pascal trying for all NBA to get the big bag and Trent, Porter Jr, and Achewa going for contracts too. Feel as though Nowell will knock Flynn off the bench to get some minutes. He can be very useful depending on matchups. Dick and McDaniels will improve shooting and to a lesser extent Porter and Nowell as well. The locker room should be better as well. Fred was eating a lot of shots and the ball should move with new schemes from Darko. 45-37 gonna be some tough nights but the compete level and attitude should be much better😊
How is it that people are expecting us to be much better then last year, when we hardly made any significant roster changes, and have a completely new unfamiliar coaching staff? We'll be lucky to even make the play-in again.
If we have any hope of playoffs next year. It will be because of Pascal. I wish, as a fanbase, 90% of us would appreciate and understand Pascal is a potential hof talent. We must resign. Instead, we're divided, 50%. dont think Pascal is worth $300m & want to give the keys to Scottie, a kid that avgs 15pts 6 reb 5 ast…..news flash guys Scottie may never be as good as Pascal let alone better. Scottie has so much to develop.

All I expect less shitting of the bed. Last year was not what should have been happening. Are we going to get a team that meets its potential? 50+ wins.
We have a proper center now and the cancer in the lockeroom is gone I'm looking at 3rd or 4th.
I expect them to finish top4, here are my reasons:
#1, it is copy cat league to everyone is gonna wanna save it for post season.
#2, our coach wasn't dailing in the right plays specially on offence. It was major weakness that's now gone! Major upgrade at that position.
#3, we are better off without Vanvleet! I like our current options better. For real.
#4, we played without a true center majority of the season. Not the case this year. There is plentof depth at center now.
#5, rest of the core is still there. Key players are in contract year.
#6, I doubt our shooting is going to be this bad.
