Ty Ty would be the best option between the two. He's a true pg and a decent defender. Guruba is to small for his position. He's a hustle guy but not a defensive stopper

Rockets fan are in love with the idea of Garuba, in reality he isn't that good. Don't you think Ime gave a list to Stone on who are expendable. Kinda obvious he can't have them on the roster. Garuba is such an awkward player and before someone says something about his passing, pay attention please, his passing is always to the first person he sees when he turns around. Just look at the awkward eurostep he tried to do recently. Yes, I agree on McGee would be a good addition

I’d bring back Garuba for big man depth and defense. I actually like TyTy aswell but there won’t be much PT for him at the PG position with VanVleet, and Thompson on the floor, and he’ll just end back up in the G-League with the Vipers for most of the most of the season

Everyone will continue to receive the "Silas" penalty until they get on the court. Hopefully, they can start getting a "Udoka" bonus in the future. Jaylen really needs to come out strong on defense , shot selection, and ball distribution to overcome the image as a "bucket". I fear he will want to come out trying to show he is the "franchise" and fall into those bad habits from the past two seasons. He now has a legit point gaurd in Vanvleet, hopefully that will allow Jaylen to just let the game come to him for a while. I can't help but believe, however, that it's going to take a while for everyone to get used to the system and each other. I've decided I'm not going to judge anything off the first 20 games – after that I start evaluating where the Rockets are headed. Who knows, they may come out and win their first 10 games. But that might be because no one had film on them, so everyone gets a pass in my book early on.
