I have to disagree with Haize on this point…If Giannis goes to LA and wins a ring, no one will care long term because of the sheer amount of rings they've won recently. If he goes to the Knicks and wins 1, he's a basketball god in NYC. If he comes to Chicago and wins 1 or 2 with the good guys, he's definitively going down as one of the best to ever do it, AND he'd be ranked higher than Scottie in Chicago lore. Those are his only two options for basketball immortality, no other team has a following like the Bulls or the Knicks that are also thirsty for a ring.
