Dort being injured, Brooks was in foul trouble, and a slow start with the other team being red-hot from 3. The way Canada closed out the 2nd and continued that momentum into the 3rd and 4th.

Credit to Latvia playing a really tough, gritty first half. I thought Canada made some nice adjustments, but the second half also would have been a lot tighter if Latvia shot as well as they usually do from 3.
I’m so impressed with Jordi’s coaching. The intensity, the adjustments, the rotations, I think he’s just done a masterful job of this team. I said this after the France game, but he has them actually playing FIBA-style basketball while using their individual advantages, rather than just playing an NBA style and expecting that talent-level will carry them.
