  1. Talking about the deadline. People act as if it's a show for entertainment. They want moves to be wowed and talk about. Making moves for the sake of it.

  2. I wanna give you my Teacher's Analogy, the Raptor's pulled off a great win despite some negatives that were not all theirs. First of all the Refs get a D because we all knew it was coming and will probably continue for the rest of the season. They missed a lot of obvious fouls around the basket for us and called a lot of cheap fouls against us, this almost cost us the game if Toronto didn't power thru this by not complaining too much. Second the bench gets a D because Will Barton who I was somewhat excited when we got him based on his numbers, but now understand why he was traded, I'll give him an F . He is has just not been effective at all. Third, 3 pt shooting I'll give a C , they did OK but I've said before if you can't score 10 to 15 3's a game it will be difficult to win that game, 3's make up for a lot of short comings in a lot of categories. Fourth, Offensive Rebounds B+ , Poeltl has been a awesome addition I'll give him an A, he is making our team 10 times better for rebounding and paint points. Fifth, Defensive rebounds were pretty much non-existent and you can't lay the blame solely on Poeltl, it hurt us a bit and could have been worse than it was. Sixth Raptor's Starters A for effort, but if the bench didn't help much and they are starting to looked a little burned out and if it wasn't for Poeltl they would probably be burned out already. Overall they played well but had to play a little harder due to the Refs basically calling the game one sided, it seemed like every other play the player were throwing up their hands looking for the foul and not all fouls they didn't call were just the Raptor's hoping for a foul, it actually was a foul, because the Refs had no problem calling lesser fouls for the T-wolves. Go Raps !!

  3. Raptors fans just keep in mind the only reason we've started winning again is because Nick has temporarilly stopped that fatal mistake he's always made this season: sitting all the starters at the same time for a long stretch (start of the 2nd or 3rd) and leaving out a lineup of bench players while the other team has still 2 of their best players in there. The past 3 games he's avoided that and we are not constantly having to run behind after losing momentum. Adding Jak is critical of course but the coaching improvement is the main reason of the success imo.

  4. Great chat with Dan. I really appreciate how much insight he gave. Nice to hear a raps exec go into a bit more detail about their trade deadline thoughts etc. Awesome segment!

  5. Glad to know the front office doesn’t expect to win this year. I can tell you that’s not what Raptors fans want to hear. If it’s ever been a team against everyone else it’s us and I think we all expect to win!!!

  6. I like what this guy said. Maybe some fans don’t want to hear it but having a long game is important when playing 3D chess. We are building.

  7. Did Jack Armstrong just say that "Fred is such a selfless guy"? hahahaahahahahaahahaha
Are you kidding me? No he isnt. Perhaps, he meant to say Scottie.
