  1. Have we not won gold medals in the olympics? That would be world champions no? 😅

  2. i have a feeling people that disagree with this are either non americans that are salty or nerds

  3. The problem is that as far as I know, the NBA supposedly is the basketball league with the most competition and the best basketball players in one league. As opposed to a sport like volleyball, where there are multiple top leagues that have the top players in the word playing for them. They have club championships where the best clubs around the world compete but they also have VNL, the World cup and the Olympics as ways to represent their country.

NBA players could easily become conceited due to the amount of talent and competition they have in one league so of course some are gonna start calling themselves world champs and they can’t exactly be wrong either.

Well thinking about it, most volleyball leagues have a limit to how many foreign players can be in their league so that probably has something to do with the spread of talent. Even then though, the amount of talent in the league compared to everywhere else, I’m not too sure.

  4. Loved this video and it wasn't even necessary. That dude Noah was just another one of those youngins talking like he knows everything. Never been another generation to just jump out of the window with a lack of knowledge or thinking.

  5. I agree with noah, I highly disagree with you, the premier league (one of the most famous football/soccer leagues) is full of players from around the world, but they aren't world champions, they are premier League champions, so I disagree because it's a double standard, and the champions League which is on par with how famous the prem is is the best European teams playing to see who is best, and they dont claim world champions they clam champions league champions, and pretty much all of the teams in both the prem and the champions league are from different conditions they play in, 36.4% of premier League players are from other countries

  6. Since Stephen A. Smith came out and made an apology video I hope you do the same Jimmy

  7. Haven't even finished watching this video because you're wrong. For the first time your analysis is way off. NBA championships are not world champions and there's no debate. Manchester city can't call themselves world champions Jimmy

  8. Bro just undid his respect from most of the world with this one lets start labelling man city as the world champions

  9. Is Miami world champion of football (soccer) just coz they got the best player in the world playing for them?

  10. We can't explain a country calling themselves "America" when it is an entire continent, what the problem is when calling themselves world champions lol

  11. 😢 so this is how Steph fans feel when he misses. This video is so sad. It may be your opinion but it's still a terribly wrong opinion

  12. Noah is right, as was popp. You are wrong. It's bullshit. Football Champions league winners are also not world champions, neither are NBA champions. World champion is not a term to put on teams that are not national teams! it's just typical US hype :(. Sad to see this happen. IT DOES NOT MATTER THAT THE NBA IS THE BEST LEAGUE – IT'S A LEAGUE, NOT THE WORLD, NO NATIONAL TEAMS ARE PLAYING !

  13. Imagine making this video and 3 days later your WOrLd chAMpIoNS losing to Lithuania =))))

  14. He's right on one level. I would love to see a World vs USA…but like a real one. Or even Europe vs USA – 400mil Europeans vs 330 mil Americans. All you have to do is watch these FIBA games to see the quality that can be put together.

  15. I'm sorry, Jimmy, but this is the worst take you ever had. You are actually making a case against yourself upon listing, that current top talent in the NBA is coming from outside of the US. If you take the same idea and translate it to soccer, you could argue, that the team winning the Premier League should be crowned world champions, just because the league is pumped with money and the most talent. The thing you are not taking into consideration is, that all that foreign talent would be removed from US franchises in an international competition because they would be competing under their flag for their country, not for the US.

  16. Love your Videos JxmyHighroller, but you are 100% wrong on this one. It doesn‘t matter how many international players play in the NBA – to be a world champion you have to play other countries not clubs with international players.

  17. Respectfully, he's right and you're wrong! This is entering the realm of those crazy woke ideologies, where common sense and rational and critical thinking escape the mind.

  18. The main argument in this whole video seems to be that since the best players are in the NBA, the best team MUST be in it. But that is not how a team's sport work!
Also loves the timing of this publication, a few hours before Lithuania beats the US in FIBA World Cup 😆

  19. to be fair the game would need to be the playoff of main season winners vs the EuroLeague winners to get a fair result the exhibition games are rarely against the top non NBA basketball teams

  20. “NBA teams don’t need to face international teams, because they don’t need to” a statement with arrogance only a true American has 😂

  21. Bro forgot that the same Adelaide 36rs won against PHX with Ayton, dbook, Cp3, Bridges playing And by the way Adelaide 36rs was one of the bottom half teams at that time. the nitpicking is just so fucking funny HHAAHAHAHAHAHAHA🤣I'd give a thumbs up for giving such a shit opinion but still making my day good 😂

  22. “you can’t assume it’s always a formality…usa lost a few of those 100+ games to international teams”
    – 1. okay??? every dog has its day 2. i’m fairly certain that the star players of those losing nba teams didn’t even play

“the 04 olympics is proof that the best americans don’t always win”
    – 17-18 year old bron, melo and wade didn’t play, the best player (AI) was on the decline of his career and they weren’t even the best players the us had to offer so stop it

“you cant prove that nba teams could beat the best teams in every country because the foreign star players can’t play for both sides”
    – i guarantee you that if all of the best players that the world has to offer played for their native countries there’s not a single team that could beat usa in a 7 game series

“even tho the best players from around the world play in the nba, they still represent domestic teams so they can’t be world champions”
    – the NBA is centralized in the US because even tho it was invented in canada, it was made popular in the US(the NBA could have theoretically been centralized in any other country i just happened to be the US🤷🏽‍♂️) but the more important reason is that it’s the most efficient way to execute a full 100+ game season it just simply wouldn’t work if all 30 teams were spread out around the world. Take Noah lyles’s case for example: they send the fastest runners from around the world to a a specific country compete for the gold medal but it’s only once every few years…in between those time periods he probably runs in about a handful of local races imagine if he had to race 2-3 times a week around the world for 6 months it just simply wouldn’t work🤷🏽‍♂️

i could keep goin but it’s late and i’m tired so ✌️😂

  23. It doesn’t matter if the NBA has the best players in the World, they’re still not world champions. You have to beat other nations for that, stop the capping

  24. Really? The Spanish league has players from around the world as well, but I don't recall the winner calling themselves world champions. The NBA has the best players from all over the world, yes, but it doesn't have national teams. Therefore they are not world champions. It's just a (better) version of the Spanish, Slovenian, whatever league. Even if the NBA championship team would beat any other team in the world that doesn't mean they're world champions since they're not even playing in the damn world championship.
