The Lakers still have 1 more slot to fill their 15 man roster so it'll be interesting to see who it is
Officially a++ off season
Why don’t they have Reaves start at pg and have vando play the sg position defend and 3 and d. Reaves vando lbj ad wood. Dlo Vincent prince Rui Hayes, deep as fuck
I think this is a mistake and could end up as an Andre Drummond situation except without any defense. Hope I'm wrong
Last chance for a ring in Lebron extended prime, it's just them damn Nuggets but I like the way we match up
Has he ever been on a team that's made the playoffs?
lakers rotation
pg- deangello russell
sg- austin reaves
sf- lebron james
pf- rui hachimura
c- anthony davis
bench
pg- gabe vincent
sg- max christie/ cam reddish
sf- taurean prince
pf- jarred vanderbilt
c- christian wood/ jaxon hayes
Darvin Ham literally turned Lonnie into a solid defender in the beginning of the year before his injury somehow. We literally had him guarding Dame in the game where he hit the game winner against us a majority in f the time b/c he actually bothered him physically defensively. Wasn’t bad defense for those positions
i guess it would be better to have AD at the 4 and Hayes at the 5 for the starting line up. then CW will come off the bench for AD at least 3-4 mins. before the end of 1st qtr so AD can rest until mid 2nd qtr then AD can sub for Hayes for the rest of the 1st half
Oh boy…Rob Lowe is killing it! This team maybe too talented for D. Ham.
If we stay healthy I don’t see why we can’t win a championship🏆 🤷♂️
This season's team may not be the best or strongest in every category, but is probably the most balanced Lakers team assembled on paper in terms of both offense and defense. Pelinka made sure to cover all the deficiencies of the roster since the last time they won the chip back in the bubble. This team addresses both defense and shooting from the guard spot to the wing players down to the bodies in the paint. It also has a good amount of two-way players who have talent, youth, length, ball handlers, and leadership. Barring an unfortunate spate of injuries, the only probable obstacle that would hinder this team from being a contender now is the fit (how well all these mentioned different elements come together on the court) and cohesion. Considering the circumstances, this has been a splendid job on Rob Pelinka's part. Moving forward, the success of this team now lies on the players themselves and on coach Ham.
Rob Pelinka strikes again!!!!! 🟣🟡🟣🟡🗣🔥 put some respect on that man’s name!
We didn't need a defensive guy. Look what 2e did whit Andre Drummond and Dwight.
Can we enjoy that acquisition ?
I love that we have depth so lebron could rest a lot and be ready to go in the playoffs
I think coach ham can motivate or coach wood to be a defensive player. Like what happened to brook lopez. When coach ham was still one of the assistant coaches at milwaukee.
They should play him as false center to stretch out the other team big which gonna give our players a lot of opportunities at the rim
Please don’t try it, Frank is better than Ham.
Bron made Thomas Bryant look like a monster at the P&R… imagine how deadly it would be with C wood.
I like the idea of lebron AD austin d lo and wood as our starting line up
Rob did it!! Again!
Love this!
Low risk, insanely high reward signing. Checks all the missing boxes. Inagine the twin tower combo with AD? Im being very optimistic this year bra. Depth is crazy. Just prayin for that chemistry to click
I think the lakers wait til the preseason to fill out the 15th roster spot
So, with the loss of two assistants to Vogel's staff. How damaging will that be.
Also, have we added qualified replacements?
Sean Davis, you are amazng.
Great deal for LAKERS !!!!
EVEN not have a good defense but with defensive coach he will improve. It will be an easy FIT by wood.
Just leave that remaining roster spot open for flexibility. We still need a solid SG.
Every year all 15 signings are pretty hot could be options or expect leaps from “X” player yet every year we have a Kendrick nunn or KCP pre bullying him into being good again, we know how disappointed during the playoffs. So my question who are the 2 or 3 players most likely not live up to expectations this year?
Pre-season only a month away can't wait!!
I don't think there's any minutes left for those who still want Biyombo.
It’s on Darvin Ham tbh,he’s gotta be able to get everyone to buy in to the bigger purpose, D Lo and wood are the wild cards here because they have the skill sets to be stars and they can let their egos get to them
They’re definitely going to play AD at the 4, and I won’t be surprised if Wood ends up starting over Hayes at 5, because of shooting.
Last time I felt this safe about a lakers roster was in 2020 good job rob
Great roster leauge is in trouble if lakers stay healthy
