5:40 – talks about this upcoming season (Kat Rudy, Offense, structure, rebounding etc)

    Full podcast drops tomorrow

Finch seems to do interviews more often than most coaches. I wonder why that is.

Would love to see us eat on the offensive glass this year, haven’t had that energy since Vando was traded. Pretty much the whole team can stand to rebound the ball better than they did last year, and they all have the ability to do it.

Really hope we come out the gates on fire this season, otherwise there’s gonna be a lot of noise, especially around coaching/roster construction.

Can’t wait for the rest of this episode

Couple of basketball junkies and I’m here for it.

“But coach that’s my shot, I made a LIVING off that shot”

Finch: “Well really let’s go back and look, in college you made 34% of those shots. Not much of a living. You’re not making a living on that here” 💀

Finch: “For young players, to be able to dribble and create your own shot feels really really good, even if you miss. But to stand there and miss a wide open C&S three feels devastating. So there’s sort of a mental battle we’re fighting that people want to be able to dribble and create their own shot”.

This is rookie and 2nd year Ant isn’t it? 😂 He loves his tough shots. Felt like 2nd year Ant would only shoot if there was a hand in his face 😂 I mean how do you not feel invincible?
