    First China, now this… C’mon, man. You’re a billionaire.

Saudi Arabia caused 9/11. How NASTY that these famous Americans are gravitating there. Its Un-American is what it is.

  4. joe2352

LeBron might end up playing his last year in Saudi for an insane amount of money.

Who would visit Saudi? Dubai is pretty much just the better version (still bad) and it’s a hop and a skip over in the UAE. Weird choice to to go with tourism in a dying country

LeBron keep doing your thing. Don’t worry about these Reddit neck beards and their faux progressive politics. If they were real progressives they would have a more well rounded view of global politics.

  7. hojboysellin3

The saudis are scum and the only reason we katow to them is because of oil. It’s fucking bullshit.

This talk about LeBron being charitable is funny.

I really don’t care about the China aspect. Hong Kong was always going to be under China’s control once their moratorium period ended. It’s not an if but when. Plus, his son was there visiting so it put LeBron in a weird position knowing his son may be at risk. But saying Morey didn’t know what he was talking about is funny considering it’s been well-documented that China has violated numerous human rights particularly with religious people. Also, if he’s worried about his son’s safety while in China due to Morey’s comments, isn’t he proving Morey’s statement correct that China abuses human rights? This the same LeBron who knows that Nike uses Chinese labor in shitty factories but somehow, he’s speaking about injustice? So only speak out against injustice when it benefits his brand, got it.

LeBron is an opportunist. People still think this dude is paying for his school. He isn’t. It is publicly funded by taxpayers. And one must ask, why is the school performing so poorly? I get it, it’s getting some of the worst students but you’re telling me that not a single 8th grade student since its inception has passed Ohio’s math test and that the English and Science scores are way below standard? LeBron shows up for PR purposes, takes some photos, puts out a speech, and creates brand value. It’s common sense what’s going on here. LeBron has an entire team with PR, marketing, accountants, and managers who make these decisions knowing the benefits it provides.

Same LeBron who said a police officer who SAVED a black girl from getting stabbed was in the wrong and posted the photo of the police officer who ended up receiving death threats when he did his job appropriately? LeBron ended up deleting the social media post because even his raunchiest supporters knew LeBron clearly didn’t know what he was talking about. LeBron tried to be the ‘face’ of the movement but ended up not knowing the situation and making a fool of himself.

When he speaks out with BLM, he’s doing so because the ROI is there. Supporting BLM was profitable for your brand which is why Nike kept pushing it. He supports China when it comes to his brand because China has the largest basketball fanbase and is where most of his product is manufactured. If he spoke badly about China, he would have lost hundreds of millions throughout his lifetime, easily.

LeBron’s a great ball player but this talk about him being an influential figure amongst the likes of Ali and Kareem is laughable. Those two dudes FOUGHT against injustice when it was unfavorable for them and their career. LeBron is only worried about his bank account and ROI. He’s supremely calculated and clearly knows what will hurt or improve his brand.

People don’t even realize the Saudi’s are committing modern day slavery right now. They lure people from African and countries like India, Pakistan, and Indonesia and many of these developers take their passports away and force them to work in horrible conditions to build their luxury buildings. Because Saudi Arabia doesn’t have any income tax, wealthy Saudi’s basically do whatever they want and hiring foreign workers means they get to boost the economy for more money during tourism, construction, and hiring labor. Of course, LeBron doesn’t care because the Saudi’s are clearly paying him and LeBron is trying to develop connections to further increase his pockets. How much do you want to bet he’s trying to work out a deal with the Saudi’s to buy an NBA team or be a part of the Las Vegas expansion?

Does Lebron really need the money? Apparently so.

  10. oxiixiixo

  11. crunchyfrogs

  12. mphatso

Friendly reminder that Saudi Arabia conducts public executions and funded 9/11
