I am skeptical. I've seen this song and dance before. Raptor's management's plans got fucked up by losing Fred for nothing and being unable to trade Pascal for anything worthwhile. Thus, there is no plan, and they're gonna start preaching "patience, and building from within" while doing nothing as the team sinks for another 2-3 years before they fire Masai and get a new management staff and start over again.
Sure hope I'm wrong, but I'm like 80% sure that's what we are in for.
When is the last day to make a trade before the season?
Raptor will hold and see what they got till at least Dec and maybe trade deadline. Masai isn't one to make moves for moves sakes rarelt does he do it during the regular season out of the blue

OMG Nurse was the problem. I will say no more, other than look at how many leads the team blew in the last quarter last year and how many games did they came back in? Was their even one of the latter? That is on the coach. I could go on about why Nick the cancer Nurse should have gotten fired 3 years ago, but I already have in other posts. Van Vleet was a shoot first guard, but the Raptor talent is up front. Get them the ball in good scoring position. This team is at least a 50 win team, so let's see what happens the first 10 games or so. C: Poetl is as good as he will get, PF: Siakam has top 5 potential, SF: Anunoby had first team defense possibilities and could be Kwai Leonard 2, SG: Trent is only 24 years old and has had some very good games where he actually led the team in points. Let him mature a little before you write him off. 6th man: I am not sold on Barnes yet, but let's see if he can live up to all of your dreams. PG: Shroder to start (pass first guard), but I am curious to see what if anything Marquis Nowell could become. He is pretty confident and what a general he could make?

I think when ownership opened the wallets and spent for our championship team season (and parade) plus another season or 2 afrerwards is the reason we are seeing absolutely no movement now. I think ownership is trying restock the funds again and has closed the wallets. This is why we did not trade fred and let him walk for nothing and I believe they will do the same with Pascal and just let him walk for nothing instead of paying the money out to other pieces
Why is this a shocker everyone knows Siakiam likely is getting moved. Masai is just waiting to strike at the right time. We need to start exploring the Atlanta trade. I say do it if we can get Bogdan, okungwu and Griffin.
