While James Harden trade talks did initially start with the Knicks, a former NBA Champion recently spoke out against the New York Knicks going after Harden and why they should avoid him. We also received a report from an ESPN NBA Insider regarding why trade talks between the Sixers and Knicks fell through. Troy Mahabir breaks all of this down!

Nicks management didn’t fail to do anything. This is a game of chess not checkers. Everything that Richard Jefferson said they are fully aware of .. they know the next star should be age appropriate for the team .. meaning in the same age range that’s a no-brainer
James Harden is a cancer to any team he's on.and the Knicks would be STUPID to get him.

He had a chance to rock out in NY with the other 2 like 5 years ago.. he frucked up… I'm good… don't want him
I think the Knicks can get a deal done including Harden. However in a 3 team deal sending him to Clipps and Embiid to NY for 5 FRP 2 pick swaps and younger players to build around Maxey.
