    I like Canada's team overall but not rooting for any team with Brooks on it. Glad the Serbs spanked them.😂
    But a Canadian victory over the U.S. would be pretty funny for the bronze.

    Why are you surprised by the result? Well, Serbia is playing for its sixth world championship title, and how many does Canada have? By the way, USA has five titles! It is enough for any smart person to understand who outplayed Canada!

    I have to say… I was one of the "non belivers" before the tournament. I thought they could get out of the group stages, but I didnt think this team would be deep enough to go further. But hey I also didnt think my German team could reach the finals. I thought Semi finals and maybe a bronze is the best we could hope for… if we are lucky!

    You named all the guys missing… Jokic, Micic, Teodosic, Kalinic, Lucic, Pokusevski… That alone a complete starting 5 + 6th man that could compete for the title. BUT I underestimated the depth and talent. Looking at the team, and the entire talent pool, Serbia has clearly the 2nd most talent on the FIBA stage overall. IF they can get the entire team together next Summer, even the "US A Team" (I hate that nonsense) wouldnt be the favorite for me. Not under FIBA rules!

    The Final will be a completely different game. I expect a hard fought battle between 2 TEAMS who know how to play together on offense and defense. I wouldnt be suprised if it ends 83-80… But I have no idea who will win!

    5 time World chempion and aint even before turnament in top 10 teams,that is stright dissrespect to Serbia….Finland in top 10 but nobody can name 2 finland players outside of that country…

    Please 1 thing for next time. If you spell JokIĆ, BogdanovIĆ, MicIĆ like that then spell same for Jović for next time. 👍

    It always feels like the strength of the roster is less important than how the team is motivated and how their games gel together. I think that the team now has players great in their role. I think the team likes playing with Jokic, but it feels they flow better when he is NOT the first option, and Milutinov is underrated for how great a player he is. My thought is also that the roster has the best floor in terms of talent in this tournament, even above USA, as the whole bench feels just like another decent starting 5. Hope for great games tomorrow, as I think we are seeing the best matchups in both games in terms of entertainment value, only hope USA and Canada can motivate themselves to compete for that 3rd place.

    Sorry, Steve Kerr said days before, " at the moment Germany is the best team in the world .".. all the pressure is on Serbia, they are favourite and that can be a problem … much depends on Bogdanovic, if he can bear responsibility …

    I watched a lot of FiBa content in the last weeks since Juli.
    A lot of Serbian guys commented on this content with not so much enthusiastic feelings. They said that Coach Pesics was an awfull coach for this Serbian team and that they aren't very optimistic going into this WC tourney. And when they lost their first match in the second group stage i read similar comments by Serbs again.
    But oh my god did they proof the whole world wrong. Big probs to the Serbian team!
    I am looking forward to Sunday when my German team faces the Serbian team and i hope it will be a great game, no matter who will win.
    Of course i am rooting for the german team but if Serbia will win i am happy that Europe proofed once again they can match with the North American teams and even outplay them.
    Europe will have the real World Champions for another 4 years, how awsome is that?!🎉😂

    How cool would it have been if Jokic played for Serbia and Jamal Murray played for Canada, then the 2 teammates would have had to face off for FIBA? One can dream….

    It was in the end good thing that we missed all those players, especially the older ones. This new younger team, played like underdogs, and full of blood for winning

    Excellent research ! We did send our B team and that is why no one believed but we do have a system in which coach has much more influence than in NBA and team ball is above any individual greatness. And boy ,do they play beautiful team basketball!
