Thing about Book is he wasn't a super high draft pick and was not given playing time by any means as a rookie. He picked up a couple of DNP's early on and when he did play, it was usually for like 3-10 minutes.
But over his first 15 or so games, playing garbage minutes or not at all, he shot like 76% from 3 and played so well that he forced the coaches hand to play him. He's an incredible player and competitor who gets way too much shit

The 2001 draft was nice: you could create an all-around team out of it: Parker, Joe J, G-Wallace, Pau and Chandler. Very well balanced and even the 2nd unit is fine: Arenas, J-Rich, Richard Jefferson, Randolph and Okur.
