[Williams] Per league sources: the NBA is in control of the investigation into Kevin Porter Jr’s arrest for domestic violence charges. The Rockets are not allowed to take any form of action regarding KPJ’s future with the team in the meantime.

Detail helps bc many are calling for the team to immediately get rid of him which is inevitable at this point but there are procedures like anything else (frustrating but necessary). It’s just a matter of time.
Stone can’t protect the golden boy no more
So what the fuck happens if this drags on past opening day of the season, cause his contract would get guaranteed for a couple more millions if hes still on the roster by then.
Surely the NBA have to make an exception to either allows us to release him early or push back the guarantee dates.
NBA gonna serve him a weak ass suspension and sweep it under the rug. They don’t care about abusers
NBA won’t do shit, and we’ll have to quietly offload him whenever they finish their “investigation”
In the last 22 years, only Jeffrey Taylor and Miles Bridges got more than 8 games suspension. Some, like Jason Kidd, Jaxson Hayes and Rodions Kurucs didn’t even get punished by the league despite guilty verdicts.
KPJ will get a 7 game suspension, sent to the Gleague and await his fate
Dude cost himself like 70 mil as well as his career. What a total idiot and POS. Who tf beats on their gf
As soon as they can he gone
🤦🏽♂️ If this is true they need to cut him immediately. The good news more minutes for Tari, Amen and Cam.
dude was legit my favorite player and i was rooting for him and hoping he would prove people wrong, but this is just unacceptable and he’s gotta go immediately.
