This Intriguing video covers why the New York Knicks can’t compete for a championship with Julius Randle and Rj Barrett on their roster. They can’t have 3 players who all think they’re the 1st option, and if they really wanna compete, they need to replace Barrett and Randle with two players who aren’t iso turnover ego machines but instead are 3 level scorers who can play off ball and fit into a system. I agree 100 percent both are not intelligent player's we will have a decent regular season record but never win in the playoffs. Other problem is They are Thibbs favorites untouchables. Would have kept Obi instead of Barrett better athlete. Thibbs didn't use him right

Knicks will be competitive regardless but they should have kept Obi Toppin and traded Julius Randle. Everyone on the team would have benefited!!
NONE of what you mentioned is ON Randle and RJ – The biggest problem on that team is the COACH. Had I been the GM, Thibs would have sealed his fate playing an already injured Randle against the Cavs when we were UP THREE GAMES TO ONE!!! The Obi situation proved to me that Thibs is the problem. He didn't want to play Obi who had averaged 20 points in games that he started – simply because he doesn't like the guy. Then Thibs gets voted the coach that players around the league want to play for LEAST (go look it up) – and then they wonder why they can't get anyone to sign with the team?? You stack draft picks and draft good young players – then you hire a coach who hates young players. I mean WTF!!! And Randle should have been the one to GO – NOT Obi Toppin. Obi is going to kill us when we play Indiana. Also Thibs is NOT a playoff coach. He's a regular season guy who is ALWAYS going to get his ass kicked against brighter more dynamic coaches like Spoe. And to prove that – we were 3-1 vs Miami during the regular season. Miss me with the " oh but Thibs has a bunch of coach of the year awards!!" – but what have his TEAMS ever won?? NOTHING. It makes no sense the way they're clinging to this dude. Also we're a much faster and much BETTER team when Randle is NOT on the floor.

Strongly disagree about RJ Barrett. He’s a young player who’s gotten better every year.
Randle on the other hand, is a cancer. When he’s going good, he’s tremendous. When he’s not, he stagnates the offense and is also a defensive liability.
